Styling tips for extra-large mirrors
- We suggest placing your large mirror near a window or lights/lamps as it will reflect the light and bring the illusion of more light coming into the room, and the area opening.
- Experiment with the shapes and style of your mirror, by using a rectangular shape a more traditional style can be reflected into the space, whilst an arched mirror provides a clean and contemporary style.
- By bringing house plants to either side of the mirror, the green space is extended creating a luscious and calm environment- plants also improve our quality of life which is a bonus!
- Placement is key with an oversized mirror, placing it to reflect a centre point, such as a fireplace or narrow corridor could mean the room you are in changes dramatically. By reflecting on something like a fireplace or window you are optimising the space in the room whilst creating a focal point.
- Add furnishings like a bench or sideboard to add a unique design element, this will help you bring the space together tying in the design styles.
